PR Twitter Tips: December 2011

As we ring in the new year, we look forward to another year of #PR101. Check out some of the best tips below from Twitter in December and thanks to all that contributed!

@LeidyElle:  Think outside the box!

@dkny:  The more you can show that you can do your job from anywhere, the more places you will go.

@NathanK8020: Would your Press Release work on YOU?

@runway254: Take time to say thank you to all the big and ‘small’ people you have worked with all year round.

@kulasj:  Never burn bridges. Today’s intern could be tomorrow’s CEO (via  @cyndyHoenig)

@AyaMcMillan: If you say you’re going to do something, follow through. Otherwise leaves editor in a lurch & your promises are now empty.

@coreykindberg: If you’re going to send me a press release this early at least make sure it’s mobile friendly.

@queenofkudos: Be flexible  {not always easy for a self-diagnosed OCD girl}

@AyaMcMillan: Dont just ignore emails – it takes 2 seconds to acknowledge & politely decline a request.

If you haven’t already, check out the  recap of the best #PR101 of the year and don’t forget to follow us on Twitter @nycprgirls for more!
